年明けから著名なミュージシャンの訃報を次々と目にします。
キース・エマーソン、来日予定なのを知っていたので驚きました。
自殺？
高校生の一時期、プログレばっかり聴いていたことがあって、当然ELPもよく聴いたけど、純粋に楽しめていたかなというと、うーん、どうだったろう。
追悼で聴き直す気がそれほど起きないということはまあその程度だったのかな。僕にとっては。
モーリス・ホワイトは思い入れがあるのでオバマ大統領のフェイスブックのコメントに泣かされました。
訃報を聞いてからEW&Fは良く聴いています。ほぼ毎日。
ジャズの要素もあるしね。
レコードは若い頃に全部売ってしまったので今更ながらCDを集めている。
